In the commercial apartment space it seems that the primary driver of a project is it’s profit margin. As a result, the “slap it up, move on, repeat” mentality appears to prevail. Every so often though, something amazing happens. The Arkadia project in Alexandria is just that…. Amazing.
A beautiful example of a shift in thinking, where people, community, quality materials and design come first. This fine work is to be congratulated and held up as an example of what can be achieved with vision and willpower. I’m a local to the area and I find joy in showcasing beautiful architecture. My images in this case were uncommissioned, so I’d like to point out that the praise that I offer to those involved in bringing the project to reality is genuine and independent.
